BWC SOLITAIRE

BWC – Solitaire 1
This solitaire game is really just honing up on playing the BWC game.

Object of the Game
Seeing what kind of score you can get from each set of letters using BWC game rules. Suggested level of play is level 3.

Play
1.  Deal seven cards face up, you may want to play eight cards on last hand.
2.  From the cards dealt, record as many words as you can, tallying your score, then return to step 1.

Game ends
Game ends once the deck is depleted.

BWC – Solitaire 2
Suggested level of play is level 3 or 4.

Object of the Game
Play through the deck ending up with all cards being used to build words.

The Deal
Deal seven cards face up.

Play
1. From the seven cards dealt, build a word and put it in a used pile.    Note – If letters are stacked, only top letter may be used.  Once a letter is unburied it may be used to continue building word.
2. Replace the used cards spots with cards from the deck and go back to 1.
3. If at any time you are unable to build a word, draw the top card from the deck and place it over one    of your seven cards.  This is your new seven cards so go back to 1.
Note – You may end up stacking multiple cards on multiple cards if no words can be built.
Note – Stacked cards may not be used to fill empty spots, they must be used to build a word.

Game ends
Game ends once the deck is depleted. The game is very hard to win.  If you end up with one or two cards, you have done great. You will be surprised at how many three and four letter words you know, and you will learn more. Five and six letter words come along once in awhile, and seven letter words not so often. If you like working with words, you will find this addicting, and time will fly by while you are playing.

BWC – Solitaire 3
Suggested level of play is level 3 or 4.

Object of the Game
Play through the deck ending up with all cards being used to build words.

The Deal
First deal seven cards with first card face up and the rest face down. Then, on top of the face down cards, deal one card face up and the rest face down. Repeat until all seven piles has a face up card on top.

Play
1.  Take top 3, or remaining cards if less than 3, and turn face up on play pile.  You now have eight letters        with which you can build a word with.
2.  Build a word and put it in word pile.  If you are unable to build a word, return to step 1.
3.  Turn top card face up on piles that a letter to build word from was used.  If one or more of the original        seven piles is used up, place top card from play pile to replace open spots.  You may NOT use cards        from the original seven piles to replace used up piles.
4.  If you still have cards in hand, return to step 1.  Otherwise, pick up play pile and return to step 1
.
Game ends
Game ends once the deck is depleted or you are unable to build anymore words.

BWC – Solitaire 4
Suggested level of play is level 4.

Object of the Game
Play through the deck ending up with all cards being used to build words.

The Deal
Deal eight columns of eight cards face up.

Play
Build word by using letters from the bottom of the columns.  Words are built by pulling one letter at a time in order as a word is built.  Once a letter is pulled down, the next letter in that column is available to continue spelling a word.  Once a column is empty, a letter from the bottom of one of the other columns may be moved to that column.

Sample hand -----

HAND would be okay from these cards but WAX would not be okay because the letters could not be pulled down in order spelling the word.  Once a word is built, put it in a done pile and continue to next word.

Game ends
Game ends once you cannot build anymore words, and you lose, boohoo. OR, you used all the cards building words and you win, HOORAY!.

BWC – Solitaire 5
This version of BWC Solitaire does not entail building words, and more resembles the standard solitaire game using conventional cards. You need to remove two of each of the vowel cards and the star cards.
Make sure one of each of the vowel cards has red or blue on it. This should leave you with 52 cards.
Unless you know your alphabet forwards AND backwards really well, you may find it slow going for a while playing this version of BWC Solitaire.

Object of the Game
Play through the deck ending up with all cards being used to build four foundations piles. One each red piles A=M and N-Z, and one each blue piles A-M and N-Z. These four piles will be built above the row of cards created with the deal and are your foundation piles.

The Deal
First deal seven cards with first card face up and the rest face down in a row. Then, on top of the face down cards, deal one card face up and the rest face down. Repeat until all seven piles has a face up card on top.

Play
1. Check your seven piles for plays.
>If you have any 'A's or 'N's, these can go up to start you foundation piles. After any card is moved to a foundation pile, the face down card is turned over. Go back to 1.
>If you have any card which is the next card alphabetically to one of your foundation piles, it may be played. ex. one of your foundation piles top letter is an 'N' and you have an 'O' showing, the 'O' may be played on the 'N'. After the card is played, turn over the next card and go back to 1.
>If you have a card which can be played on another card creating a forward alphabetical sequence, it may be played. ex. pile 7 has a 'S' and pile 2 has a 'R'. The 'R' may be played on the 'S' creating 'RS'. The next card is turned over and go back to 1.
>After playing the 'R' on the 'S' you see that pile 1 has a 'T'. The 'RS' from pile 7 may be move to pile 1 creating 'RST'. The next card is turned over and go back to 1.
>If during play one of the piles is depleted, it may be filled in with an 'M' or a 'Z' from the cards in hand or one of the piles, or a sequence ending in 'M' or 'Z' from one of the piles. ex 'JKLM' or 'YZ'.
>If no plays can be found, continue to 2.
2.  If you do not have a play pile or have determined that the top card on it does not create any play, take top 3, or remaining cards if less than 3, and turn face up on play pile. Go back to 1 including top card on play pile in search for plays.
3. If you have no more cards in hand, pick up play pile and go to 2.

Game ends
If you pick up the play pile more than once without making any plays, it looks like you lose.
If you have completed your four foundation files, you win.
